Originally laid as a croquet lawn and extending
the whole length of the west side of the hotel is a large
garden with tables on the lawn.
When sunny the garden gets sunshine most of
the day and makes a pleasant spot to enjoy a bar meal or drink.
We also have the facility to offer barbecues.
The exterior of the hotel is covered in ivy
which changes colour as the summer progresses and at the front
is a large sprawling clematis. The garden is bordered by rose
bushes and other colourful shrubs - any advice to the owner
(and amateur gardener) would be appreciated.
