We stayed 7 days in September 2004 and enjoyed this lovely
hotel with the superb and friendly service and the very good
food. Personally liked the warm atmosphere and the charming
non-smoking lobby. Had only 5 minutes walk to the Dee for
fishing. Will for sure come back!

My Girlfriend and I arrived here for Valentines day in 2003.
Due to the poor weather, we were delayed, and certain that
the kitchen would have closed, so we grudgingly grabbed a
bag of chips in nearby Ballater. We arrived at the hotel,
dressed in jeans and trainers, to find that the staff at the
hotel had left the kitchen open just for us. We walked into
the dining room, full of smartly-dressed couples, and were
given a seat at the top of the room. We were made to feel
extremely welcome by the excellent staff, and proceeded to
have a fantastic Valentine meal. Our stay was enjoyable, but
the food and service provided was first class, and the scenery
around us made the trip a memorable one. Go there!

The room was all we could ask for, and the food was out of

Loch Kinord with its wonderfully friendly staff and truly
superb meals gave us the best Honeymoon we could have wished
for. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending it for an excellent
relaxing holiday, and we look forward to returning to celebrate
our anniversary!

To Andrew and all at the Loch Kinord Hotel, Sorry this has
taken so long, but having enjoyed ourselves on our stay with
you over the New Year so much, work and reality took their
toll on arriving back, and this is the first chance I've had
to catch up on correspondence. I can honestly say that our
group has not stopped talking of how good a time we had, even
the Kareoke, and with the photos and video to remind us we
will remember it for a long time. Although we doubt we can
make it again this year rest assured, or be worried, that
we are already discussing another stay with you perhaps at
New Year 2005. Our thanks to all for making our all too brief
break with you such a success. Look forward to meeting you
all again in the future,

We had a lovely time, there was a warm welcome for us. The
staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very
clean, with modern, high quality decor and furniture. All
this was further enhanced by the wonderful food (worth the
trip from Aberdeen alone).

Thank you for a wonderful Valentines weekend. The hotel was
everything we wanted and was very welcoming after our 11 hours
drive from London! Our room was very nice (especially the
large shower!) and the food was out of this world - our sincere
compliments to the chef. The scenery and surrounding areas
were beautiful also. We will definately be back but this time
we want the room with the jacuzzi!

Very nice hotel, very nice staff and an entirely tolerable
landlord (only kidding Andrew!). My wife and I have never
felt less than very welcome at this splendid hotel, truly
the benchmark establishment on Deeside which others in the
area could learn a thing or two from. Long may it continue!

Andrew, Just a quick email to tell you how much Lee and I
enjoyed our stay at your lovely hotel. You and your staff
made us feel right at home--and the food was wonderful! We
loved the Royal Deeside area and talked with so many nice,
friendly people, toured beautiful castles, and found the graves
of my ancestors near Mulben. Scotland is amazingly beautiful,
and this turned out to be our most wonderful wedding anniversary
