The hotel has just become one of
the few hotels in the Grampian and Royal
Deeside area to achieve the AA Rosette award for excellence
in its cuisine.
We have been awarded the status
of "A taste of Scotland" for our excellent food.
Here's what they had to say about us:
Good
food and a warm welcome in this traditional village
hotel.
Innovative Scottish cooking
NEW OWNERS, Andrew and Jenny Cox, have
refurbished this Victorian hotel and restaurant creating
a new, friendly atmosphere. There is formal dining
in the restaurant; wholesome yet fairly sophisticated
bar food; or an alternative pub atmosphere in the
Holly Tree. The owners are an enthusiastic and knowledgeable
couple.
A Taste of Scotland at Loch Kinord Hotel:
Savoury profiteroles stuffed with North Sea prawns and
crab meat with a lime dressing. Collops of fillet steak
coated in oatmeal and sauteed with onions and tomatoes
in brandy, finished with cream. Glean Talisker
dried fruit soaked in whisky and mixed with whipped
cream.
