ABOUT THE HOTEL
We bought the hotel from the receivers in January 1998. Over a period of 10 years, using our previous high level experience and expertise in the Hotel & Catering Industry, we have transformed it into a thriving, family run, award winning countryside hotel in Royal Deeside.
Our aim is to provide a hotel of exceptional value for money, in both levels of service and products offered, in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Serving both the tourist and business traveller, whether partaking in business or pleasure, sporting or leisure, we can accommodate each ones needs.
The hotel was built in the late 1800's and was originally an up market hotel for wealthy fishermen, stalkers and travelers. It was previously called "The Profeits Hotel" being built for the 2 nieces of Queen Victoria's doctor - Doctor Profeit. A perennially popular destination for fishers, stalkers, golfers and tourists.
